Mr President
It is never legal to steal from the tax payers or to rob from banks or insurance companies. I voted for you hoping that you will improve things in this country and bring some needed changes. I was uneasy about my vote when I saw the amount of contributions to you from wall street cadre of thieves. I was surprised to hear you express fake outrage over tax payers money and saying that it is perfectly legal. Your men stated that contracts are sacred. I have a question for you Mr President as a constitutional scholar since when can contracts justify the theft of taxpayers money? If it is legal to steal tax payers don't we have a bigger problem than economic meltdown in the law that need to be fixed before we start shoveling money to the thieves. And since your reaction to those thefts is to say let us move forward are you willing to treat the petty thieves like bank robbers and tax cheats in main street with the same generosity and ask for their release? Are you going to extend the generosity to the innocent citizens who get penalized in their taxes for honest mistakes?
What about your plan to shovel money into hedge fund managers “ friends of your economic advisers and campaign fund contributors” to buy toxic assets? How much money are you willing to allow them to make on the back of tax payers?
Mr President who is it in Washington that looks for the interest of regular citizens? The citizens are frustrated with both the republicans and democrats politicians who are owned by the special interests which populate Washington. Every 5 to 10 years period the ordinary citizens endure the theft of their hard earned money invested by wall street thieves. Scandals and theft is becoming so regular, so wide spread and expected by us and we can do nothing about it. There is no place to save for retirement that is safe and that the thieves can't get to? What are we supposed to do? Are you asking us to move on because it is legal theft? How can theft be legal under any law? Why do we have to rewrite the regulations to ban theft and who made these thefts legal? It is more appropriate that those who allowed the thefts to happen should bow Japanese style and …..
